Those familiar with any of my electronics including my audio systems know I attempt to make the most accurate and reliable products before putting them on the market. The DT audio was quite a challenge because the DT voice is very difficult, if not impossible to decipher making it frustrating to those around you may want to communicate with. As a result I decided keep the system relatively simple to operate and manage. The DT audio system will be similar to my First Order TK audio but with DT audio chatter that can cycled on and off at the push of a button. This DT audio chatter will then run through the amplifier out to the speakers. Cycling the chatter files on/off to speak giving you greater control over your conversation with fellow troopers, handlers and fans yet, still maintain the canon DT voice when not conversing. “NEW” Optional MP3 an PTT cable upgrade: MP3 player now available with 15″ PTT cable. This upgraded MP3 player with 15″ PTT cable gives you even more control over the MP3 playback. The new option will come with Converted MP3 player, 15″ PTT cable with velcro (longer cable available), forearm strap and hand strap, both with Velcro. This does NOT come standard with the kite. You’ll find the item in the drop down menu under “With PTT Cable”.
“NEW” Existing customers wanting to upgrade their MP3 to add the PTT cable option, select “MP3 Upgrade Only” from the drop down menu.

NOTE: This kit requires the left and right cheek tube vent holes to be open for the system to operate properly. Depending on the manufacturer of your helmet you may be required to remove whatever may be covering those holes (cloth, fiberglass, resin, etc). Also, make and model of receiver or mp3 player is subject to change without notice and may vary from what is seen in the sales photos.

What you’ll receive:
Two (1.5w, 85db) water proof speakers with harness and connectors.
“Y” harness with a 3.6mm audio jack to connect speaker harness to audio amplifier.
Audio amplifier with rechargeable battery and auxiliary port to import chatter files.
Anker, or Omni directional microphone. Depending on availability which will be shipped.
Two swatches of black speaker cloth to cover the tube stripe holes.
Two speaker risers to raise the speakers off the surface of the cloth material and helmet.
Four 5″ strips of sealing foam with adhesive to seal and insulate speakers.
One rechargeable Bluetooth audio receiver, 4-10’ range, up to 12hrs of runtime. 3.5mm male connector. (NOTE: You’ll receive one of three different receivers sold)
One rechargeable Bluetooth MP3 audio player 8Gb (expandable to64Gb), 30hrs runtime.
DT audio chatter loop file loaded on MP3 player.
HELMET NOT INCLUDED!

Testing:
This system has been tested with the ANOVOS and other Deathtrooper fiberglass molded helmets. The system has zero feedback issues when operated properly and the volume at reasonable levels however, other helmets may require additional sound deadening insulation due to their construction. Preliminary testing measured full speaker volume output around 100db.
